February Fly Fish!
Phil and I are lucky enough to get a second chance fishing Utah together. We have a 6 day trip scheduled the first week of February. Arriving Sunday, fishing the Provo Monday morning, driving 4 hours to the Green River Monday afternoon. Staying three nights total on the river. A guided 6 hour float on Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday walk and wade on our own. After speaking with the guide the Green River is a lot like the Bow River with browns and rainbows averaging 20" with many larger. Apparently its more like the Bow in the mountains with clear water and mostly sight fishing around the many structures the rivers offers. Nymphing, streamers, and dry flying with midges. Weather can be -20 or +10. I wish we could all be there for this one! Check out the shop/guide and gallery. http://www.fishgreenriver.com/
