Big Pickerel

Bass Fishing

Me Phil and Mark went for a Bass and Pickerel fish today, got a bunch of each and had a few good laugh's.

JBFC 2008!

"Listen up"

Boys I have decided to start the planning process early this year. Due to the the "top quality" planning and organization of our previous trip to The Blackstone (give it up to Shawnee Boy;"PROPS" )and given the excellent fishing and accommodations, it will indeed be hard to top.

So I say lets try and match it!

What does everyone think about a repeat trip for 08'?

What about a trip to Northern Quebec? Jay's uncle has a camp there.

Maybe Newfoundland is the answer for the 10th annual trip?

What about Maxi? We need to get his ass to the 10th annual.

Just some ideas to get the ball rolling for 08'. I think we would all agree that the soon we set a date and location the sooner we can start to scratch up the cash. Let me know what you guys all think and we'll take it from there.

p.s.- Patent pending on the elusive "Beer Sprinkler" copywrite 2007.

It was a Salmon Fly Hatch ! Sweet

July 13, 2007 Blackstone Gap

Great 5 hour fish. Mostly cutts, a lot of rockies (2 lbs+), and only one bull. Big hatches on when we arrived. Not sure, but believe we hit a salmon fly hatch. I'll follow up when I can research the picture I took of one with a yellow body. Saw orange, red, and a few with eggs on the tail. Fish were hitting top water, mid water, small and large dries, big streamers, etc. Excellent and "on" on the way up, slacked off on the way back due to heavy winds. No flies on the water! Here are a few pictures.
