JBFC 2010 ( Going Old School )

Looks like most people want to have the JBFC in May. So I'm going to get the ball rolling on setting some dates. How about during the week of May 16-22 or 23-29. Should we have it for a week or for 4-5 days? Let me know what you fellers can do and we'll go for there.
Lets make this years trip as simple as the one we had in 99'. Lets try and get the happy bearded guy in the pic above back to N.S. if possible so we can put that crazy smile back on his furry face!

Lifetime trips to begin!

We have all talked about a list of places that we would like to visit and fish, I guess you could call it our flyfishing bucket list. Mark is thinking Iceland would be a good start to this and I agree. I think we should put some serious thought into making these trips happen ever couple of years! These will be trips of a lifetime for both the travel, and the fishing. Obviously not all of us will always be able to afford these trip but when we can they will be memories for life!!

We have had great years of the JBFC trips and the trip to Alberta always stands out. This is what we need to do more of!! We hope to return the JBFC trip back to its roots.

We are not getting any younger and really should live life day to day while we can! Below are a list of trips I would like to do, in no particular order. If anyone has any suggestion (from internet world) please add a comment.

Iceland - for trout, char and salmon
Labrador - for huge native brookies
Patagonia - for monster brown trout
Alberta/BC - Heli in for 30+ bulls and remote cutts
Cuba - Lounging for Large Mouth Bass and fish some flats for bonefish
