We have in the past talked about a name change. Does anyone have any ideas? How could a new name benefit us? Does anyone think we should keep things how they are? What about name that could be used for the group of us , but we would still have the JBFC trip???
If people could come up with some names we could but them to vote.

I'd like to make up another website and have the blog as a members only type thing. The www.flyfishingunion.com page would be all hype, t-shirts, thongs, LE custom tested fly's. Shit I would like to have a flyfishing union t-shirt.
The FlyFishing Union would meet many times a year to discuss important social aspects of flyfishing.
There would be full members and associate members.
I'd also like to sponser the club through scotia lures. Scotia Lures should be in a position to handle this soon. We need to spend some money on R&D, field testing, product give aways, etc. What better way then to a bunch of fly fisherman. Although I hear lately that Phil may be the only one left in NS that can catch fish over 8 inches? Is that true.

What would the club want or need from a sponsor? How much money per year? What would you do with the money?
I like "the Flyfishers Union". I'd say we could try and use this idea for selling some gear and also to encourage Catch and Release fishing.
We could use any earnings towards fishing adventures where ever.
And Shawn, your a cork sucker!
